Hyundai Providing VW With Competition
The hatchback segment is a hotly contested market with a number of makers releasing cars that have to be very exciting looking as well as affordable. The benchmark in this segment is still set by the volkswagen golf for sale but there’s no stopping the competition from Hyundai with its latest i30. This car looks very similar to the smaller i20 and i10 but it does have the lognest wheel base in its class which is measured to be 2650 mm.
On the south African market are is the first of two models one with a 1.6 litre engine of 89 KW and costs R189 000. Top of the range model has a 2 l engine which produces 105 kW and you will have to pay R229 900. Both of these models have a five speed Manual gearbox that encompassed a higher compression ratio as well as efficiency. Prices include a five year warranty and service plan that covers 100 000km.
