So I had this brilliant idea of making them into t shirt dresses. Well, I could have just brought it to the nearest tailor shop but I thought making t shirt dresses were just an easy thing to do. All I needed was to buy the materials I needed like threads, tape, pins, fabric patterns, other accessories like beads and sequins and of course a handheld sewing device.
I took a t-shirt I own which fits me perfectly and made it my model. I patterned my boyfriend’s t shirts and started making adjustments, sewing on some accessories and slipping each one on. I was able to make 3 t shirt dresses in one day and I plan to make more. Sometimes all it takes is a little innovation. 
It’s Time to Clown Around
Saturday, November 19th, 2011I remember as a child the sense of excitement as we visited the local annual circus. I remember vividly the fun fair, and the various acts, including the amazing animals, such as the trained elephants and lions. But the one thing that really stays in my mind is the memory of the various clowns, as they ran about the floor doing their acrobatics and funny stunts.
So great was the impression on my mind that whenever I’ve been invited to attend a costume party, I have always dressed up in clown fancy dress. I simply love the sense of vivid colour and the hightened air of theatre with clown costumes. Wearing these fabulous outfits gives you license to express an altogether jollier side of your personality. Of course not everybody agrees with me. In fact my best friend Greg is absolutely terrified of clowns. So much so, in fact, that whenever I arrive at a party dressed in my clown costume, he has to move to another room!
Does this put me off from wearing my favourite costume? Of course not! For his birthday I have given Greg a book on how to deal with phobias. Hopefully this means he can learn to deal with my fondness for clown outfits. In the meantime I intend to express my love of clowns by dressing up at home!

Thursday, November 17th, 2011This really is my third Seiko watch over a 34 year time period. Fairly resistant to shocks, too, I recommend wearing it with your tuxedo tails. Instantly it looks like a Rolex. I could not believe I could purchase a mens Seiko watch this cheap. It’s perfect for what I first got it for. Hardly any scratches overall, some on the bracelet locking mechanism and one little scratch in the crystal face that’s barely even noticable. When I am having discussions with people I’m constantly catching them looking at this watch, especially when I’m wearing my brown tuxedo! My first Seiko lasted nearly 25 years before the mainspring went, following a nasty fall. The band probably could have been smaller sized, but that’s ok. An excellent buy, recommended by a buddy. She is single, has a job that pays well and has a very active social life. Working as an event organizer makes her exposed to many social functions. She love that she gets to organize the function and get invited as well. The girl has about a full closet of lovely evening dresses that she has collected over the years. Too many that she can lend a dress to all the women in our family if there is a formal family event.
I’m happy that she found the perfect job. Angela used to be a very shy girl while we were growing up. I never thought she would end up with this job because she always loved to stay at home when we were young. I needed to drag her to parties back then.
