I love spending time outdoors. Sometimes I will spend weeks camping in the woods surrounding my home, with nothing but a few survival tools and my two trusty seiko solar watches. I have two because my children both got me the same one for Christmas one year, and I am not allowed to play favorites! I really like the seiko solar watches because I never have to worry about replacing a battery. If you have ever had to search for a watch battery, you know exactly how much of a convenience this is. My old watches batteries used to run out all of the time, and usually half way through a camping trip when I really needed the watch the most. After my girls got me the seiko solar watches, however, I never needed to worry about that again. I was outdoors most of every day anyway, so they stayed plenty charged and never lost time. They took all of the beatings I could give them without showing a scratch too, which is pretty amazing in itself!
