Check Your Passport Expiry Before Applying For A Business Visa
I was planning to travel to Europe on a business meeting and had arranged all my documents to be submitted to the visa section. However I was surprised when they refused to give me a visa saying that my passport was not valid till six months because it was going to expire before that. I had no other alternative but to go to the passport office and ask them to renew my passport. But I was not sure how many months before they renewed the passport. I checked the website of the passport office and found a section called as passports when to renew. It was stated that one could renew the passport six months before it could get expired. So I went to the passport office immediately and submitted my passport with the hope that I would get it soon. Luckily I got my new passport in a couple of days so I immediately applied for my business visa. Now till another ten years I do not have to worry about renewing my passport
